Your First Visit
To help you in a situation in which you have to find a new doctor, we have created these guidelines. Many people remain with their same doctor for many years, as they get comfortable with the service and medical judgement they get. However, in some circunstances such as moving to a new neighborhood, people must find new doctors. If you are one of those people, these guidelines might be useful to you when visiting your new dentist in Warner Robins Georgia. We are here to provide high quality service in a relaxed, comfortable environment.Read more about Your First Visit
It can be easy to forget when you scheduled a dental appointment. But now we'll remind you with a "Smile Reminder" via email or text message, and even provide driving directions if it's your initial visit. Just click on the link below to let us know how you'd like to be contacted. We'll do the rest!
The initial consultation is an informal meeting between you and our dentist. It gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our experience, the services we provide, the tools we use, and more. It also gives our dentist the opportunity to get a better understand of your and your family's dental health needs.
Following the initial consultation, satisfied patients are invited to schedule their first dental appointment at our office. Prior to this appointment, we ask all our new patients to complete some paperwork that outlines basic contact information and details about their medical and dental history. You can download these forms at the following link and complete them in advance of your appointment. Otherwise, we ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes early so you have plenty of time to complete these forms in our office.
After reviewing your new patient paperwork--paying close attention to your dental health history--our dentist will conduct a thorough evaluation of your teeth, gums and mouth. During this exam, our dentist will check for signs of cavities, gum disease and other potential problems before moving on to the teeth cleaning portion of the appointment. Teeth cleaning is a painless process that involves the removal of plaque and tartar from the teeth and gums. It will protect your teeth from future decay and disease and it prepares them for x-rays.
Once your evaluation and cleaning are complete, our dentist will take a series of x-rays to gain a better understanding of your current oral health. Our digital x-rays provide detailed images of your teeth, tooth roots and jawbone structure so our dentist can look for further signs of decay, infections and other serious problems.
At the conclusion of your visit, our dentist will discuss any findings from your oral evaluation and x-rays and review any recommended treatments to address the issues found. Our dnetist will outline a personalized treatment plan and provide a detailed cost breakdown so you know in advance how much any recommended procedures will cost. If you have dental insurance, our team can assist you in determining how much of the procedure is covered by your plan.
If our dentist recommended any additional treatments, our staff will work with you to set up those appointments on dates and times that work within your busy schedule. If no additional procedures are needed, our dentist recommends returning to our Warner Robins, Georgia, office every six months for another checkup and cleaning. Our staff can schedule these visits for you at this time.
